After almost 7 hours of driving time, 20 total hours on airplanes and 13 hours sitting in airports we have arrived in Tanzania. Everyone flew out of Chicago to Doha, Qatar and from there we broke into our three groups and left for Kenya, Tanzania and Zambia.
My group, Gary Peters, Nicole Hansen and myself were met by Bruce Naumann at the airport and we are now relaxing at his and Paula's home along with Jeff Radichel who arrived ahead of us. We are enjoying talking about and comparing our teaching plans and talking about how everything is going to work.
Tomorrow we plan on going to our first school. I'm excited to get started!
